Paul T. Daudlin, President
Paul Daudlin is the President of Daudlin, De Beaupre and Company, which he co-founded in 1991 with Mary Anne De Beaupre, who is now retired.

Prior to beginning his career in the executive search and human resources consulting fields, Paul possessed nearly fifteen years of experience in human resources and held director level positions with Michigan Mutual Liability Company and St. John Hospital & Medical Center in Detroit, Michigan.

He entered the management consulting field in 1983 with the then "Big 8" public accounting firm of Arthur Young & Company where he began providing executive search to organizations within the healthcare industry. In 1988, he became the Director of Healthcare Executive Search Consulting Services with another "Big 8" firm, Coopers & Lybrand.

A graduate of the University of Michigan, Paul is a well-known speaker on executive recruitment, selection and interviewing, and successful career management. He has presented numerous seminars and workshops on these topics at gatherings sponsored by state hospital associations and professional societies including the Michigan Hospital Association, regional chapters of the American College of Healthcare Executives and the Healthcare Financial Management Association, the Michigan Association of Certified Public Accountants and the National Association of Catholic Chaplains.

Paul and his wife, Mary Jane, have three daughters and make their home in Grosse Pointe Woods, Michigan. The Daudlin family is actively involved in numerous civic and charitable endeavors.

Katherine Shubnell, Director of Candidate Research & Assessment
Katherine Shubnell is the Director of Candidate Research & Assessment of Daudlin, De Beaupre and Company, a healthcare executive search firm which her father, Paul Daudlin co-founded in 1991.

Katherine graduated in Summa Cum Laude with a B.A. in English from Madonna University in Livonia, Michigan. Upon graduation, she began an internship in the Human Resources, Marketing and Development Departments of St. Mary Mercy Hospital in Livonia, Michigan. After completing the internship, she stayed on in the Development Department and worked with the team on a successful $5 million Capital Campaign for the Cancer and Cardiovascular Centers at the Hospital. Katherine held a variety of positions, the last of which was Manager of Annual Gifts & Special Events.

After four years at St. Mary Mercy Hospital, Katherine moved on to run her own fundraising program at Visiting Nurse Association of Southeast Michigan where she served as the Director of Development.

In 2010, Katherine obtained a Master’s in Public Administration from the University of Michigan’s Rackham Graduate School. Upon completion of this graduate degree, she joined Daudlin, De Beaupre and Company utilizing her background in healthcare and administration to identify and assess candidates for leadership positions with our clients.

She offers our clients excellent experience in the nonprofit sector as well as an ability to serve as a resource for Foundations and Development Departments, which support hospitals and healthcare systems.

Katherine’s affiliations include the American College of Healthcare Executives and the Michigan Association of Healthcare Philanthropy. She has conducted seminars for private foundations on the value and usage of effective fundraising programs to support philanthropic needs. Katherine also serves on numerous committees which support educational and charitable activities within her family’s school and church communities.

Katherine and her husband, Kevin are lifelong Michiganders. In her spare time, she enjoys decorating, art and baking.
